About LansPilot
A camera crew that fits on one desk.
LansPilot runs the shoot from your PC: two Android phones as controlled cameras, your interface as the sound desk, and one folder of synced media at the end. Built for the person who is both in front of the camera and behind it.
One operator
Start, frame, expose and stop both phones without leaving your chair. Screen-off keeps the phones cool through a long take.
Real signal chain
ASIO or WASAPI capture with a gate, compressor and 3-band EQ per channel. Every microphone is also written to its own file.
Nothing leaves the machine
Recording, Whisper transcription and export all run locally. Phones pair once over a mutually authenticated, pinned connection.
No lock-in
FCPXML, EDL and OpenTimelineIO out. Session metadata is written as readable JSON beside the media, not hidden in a database.
