Terms of Service
Last updated May 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StudioCam website, beta program, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) offered by the StudioCam team (“we,” “us”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Beta software
StudioCam is offered in a public beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. The Services are provided for evaluation and feedback. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to access installers, portal features, or future purchases. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, reverse engineer except where applicable law permits, or use StudioCam to violate law or third-party rights—including privacy, intellectual property, and consent requirements when recording.
4. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, branding, and content, are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership rights; we grant a limited, revocable license to use the Services as offered.
5. Third-party tools
StudioCam may interoperate with third-party codecs, drivers, or utilities you install separately. Those tools are governed by their own terms and licenses.
6. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
8. Changes
We may modify these Terms or the Services. We will post updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
