This policy explains how LansPilot uses cookies and similar technologies on www.lanspilot.com (the “Site”), and how you control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to work; others are optional and only set with your consent. We also use comparable browser storage (such as localStorage) to remember your cookie choice.

Categories we use

• Strictly necessary. Required for core functions such as signing in and keeping your session secure. These are set by our authentication provider (Clerk) and cannot be switched off. We also store your cookie preference itself so we don’t ask on every visit.
• Analytics (optional). If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are useful, with IP anonymization on. These are set only after you choose “Accept all,” using Google Consent Mode — until then no analytics cookies are written.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your personal information.

Managing your choice

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept analytics cookies or keep only the essential ones. You can change your decision at any time: reopen cookie preferences. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; clearing site data will prompt the banner again on your next visit.

Third parties

Cookies set by our subprocessors are governed by their own policies — see Clerk (authentication) and Google (analytics, only if you opt in).
